As a facilitator, have you ever been asked how facilitation is different from coaching? Is it true that facilitation is more process-driven while coaching is more people-focused? As group facilitators, how can we further develop our competency to apply a variety of participatory processes to stimulate and tap the group’s energy, evoke group creativity, and bring out the best in the group?

In this session, you can understand when facilitation and coaching apply, and explore possibilities to integrate them to maximize workshop outcomes.
1. Exploring similarities and differences between facilitation and coaching
2. Using different channels to provoke participation and inspire wisdom
3. Facilitating with a useful team coaching activity to reveal the system to itself
4. Closing in an integrated approach of facilitation and coaching
