IAF we have one set of Core Competencies and yet we all do and see things very differently. How do the Core Competencies work wherever we go? There are geographically-cultural differences and work-based cultural differences. What is seen as confidence in one workplace may be interpreted as arrogance in another.

This is your opportunity to learn more about the Core Competencies in in-depth discussion with your peers and colleagues so that you can apply them with greater confidence in your work. We will look at the meaning and application of the Core Competencies, and how they might be interpreted in different cultures and countries.

You can contribute to research and development for CPF program. As IAF expands the CPF into different languages, we need to be more aware of cultural differences and this will be a Quick Reference Guide which when developed can also be made available for wider use.
